Questions

Frequently asked questions

My hot water bottle shows E1, E2 or EE. What does that mean?

E2 usually means the hot water bottle isn't lying flat or is moving while it heats up. Place the hot water bottle on a flat, firm surface and leave it still. E1 and EE often point to too much air in the hot water bottle. EE can look like 33 on the display. Unplug the cord and plug it back in firmly. Is the hot water bottle more swollen than before? Then bleed the air from it as described in the manual. Does the message keep appearing? Then contact our customer service.

My hot water bottle bulges when it gets warm. What now?

After frequent heating, condensation can cause extra air and moisture to build up in the hot water bottle. When heated, that air expands. The hot water bottle then bulges and sometimes no longer fits well in its cover. It will often show an error message as well. You can fix this by bleeding the air from the hot water bottle. The manual explains step by step how to let the air out and, if needed, top up the water. Not sure, or does the hot water bottle stay swollen? Then don't use it and contact our customer service.

My hot water bottle no longer gets properly warm. What can I do?

First check which setting you've chosen and whether an error code appears on the display. Lay the hot water bottle down flat and still, without its cover. Unplug the cord from the socket and from the hot water bottle. Then plug the cord back in firmly, and try a different socket too. Is the hot water bottle more swollen than before? Then bleed the air from it and top up the water if needed, as the manual explains. Is the hot water bottle still not getting warm afterwards? Then contact our customer service.

My new hot water bottle smells musty. Is that normal?

A new hot water bottle can smell a little musty. The smell comes from the rubber on the inside and is a result of the manufacturing process. It is not mould. Take the hot water bottle out of its packaging and let it air out well for a while. The smell usually fades on its own. Does the smell linger, or does it get stronger? Then contact our customer service.

There's no manual included. How do I get one?

Can't find the manual, or have you lost it? Then contact our customer service. We'll send you the manual. It also explains how to bleed the air from the hot water bottle and top up the water. Keep the manual somewhere safe, because after a while the hot water bottle can start to bulge. You'll need those steps then.
